A few words about the project...
Secret Of The Sword project was my first step into learning the 3D game development skills (programming, modeling, animation...). Development of the game started in 2007 as a fan-creation project inspired by He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe cartoon from the '80 & it combined full 3D environment together with 2D animated characters. At every segment I tried to re-create & imitate in my own way some of the most known 2D design solutions from cartoon and transfer them into 3D geometry.
At the beginning of the development I had my friend Petar Andjelkovic working with me on the story & he even made one sub-level for the game. Later, when my friend Ivan Gligorijevic (music & audio effects guru) joined in on the project, the decision was made to abandon the fan-creation domain & to develop fully original 3D game, so Secret Of The Sword turned into Blade Of Power.

A few words about the music and audio effects...
At the very beginning of the development, my work for the Secret Of The Sword project consisted of the creative efforts to re-compose in a more stylized way Masters of the Universe cartoon main theme and some of the better known MOTU background themes such as Battle & Snake Mountain theme.
After some time I started composing my own original music tracks for the project, so when the decision to let go of the fan-creation concept was made the audio segment already contained a sufficient number of original sound tracks.
MOTU Battle, Snake Mountain & He-Man themes that are now present in the Secret Of The Sword: Castle Rooms & Mer-Man Lair demos, are not the original files that I used back then. They have been re-mastered & enhanced using Fruity Loops 9 and some of the more up to date audio samples.
Secret Of The Sword audio effects originate mainly from Sony Creative Software effect compilations and have been modified and adapted by me, at the time, to be in-tone with the project atmosphere and gameplay.
